  The management of personal data is a sensitive topical subject, this document presents IphiGéNie's personal data management policy, it meets the transparency requirements required by Google Play Store and by European data protection regulations (GDPR of May 23, 2018). Our privacy policy describes what information we collect, how we use and share it, how to manage your privacy controls and your rights in connection with our website and our desktops and mobile applications. The protection of your privacy is one of the principles that guided the developers of IphiGéNie in their design choices, for example the use of IphiGéNie is not subject to the creation of an account, whatever it is. , and does not require entering any personal identifying information.

  Data collection and sale

  Is it necessary to create an account to use IphiGéNie ?	No	Iphigénie does not use a nominative account, the use of IphiGéNie is not subject to the explicit creation of an account.
  Do we collect personal data without your knowledge ?	No
  Can data be collected / recorded ?	Yes	Only your tracks, your landmarks, and the photos associated with the landmarks can be saved locally but only at your initiative. If you have activated the "Cloud" function, tracks and landmarks (not photos) can be saved in your Google Drive. Under no circumstances are these data stored in our servers.
  Do we save data on our servers ?	Yes	Your internal unique IUID and your license purchases are automatically recorded. If you have activated your beacon, your position will be automatically reported on our servers every 5 minutes.
  Do we sell your personal information ?	No
  Do we share or sell aggregate information ?	No
  Do we share / export your data with third party API partners ?	Yes	traces and landmarks but only at your initiative. No data exchange escapes your control. When you want to export data, you have to choose a third party application from the exchange applications available on your device. Iphigénie does not manage a social network, the recipients of your documents must be specified for each exchange, they are not memorized by IphiGéNie.

  Means of confidentiality control

  What personal data is available on our servers ?		The activated tags. By default your beacon is deactivated, to activate it you must first choose and enter a beacon identifier and a beacon password, then use the activation button of the beacon.
  Can you control who can view your beacon ?	Yes	Only people to whom you have communicated your beacon ID and associated password will be able to view your beacon. You have the option to change your beacon ID and password at any time.
  Can you clear your tag data ?	Yes

  Tracking

  Are we tracking the location of your device for IphiGéNie features ?	Yes	To record your tracks, to follow a given track, to send your beacon.
  Are we tracking your device's location when the app is running in the background ?	Yes	but only in the cases specified previously (recording or tracking, active beacon)
  Do we track the location of your device when you are not using the app ?	No

  Information collected by IphiGéNie

  Geolocation information

  We collect and process geolocation information when

  • - you use the application in the foreground, screen on, to position yourself on the map ;
  • - you record your route in a track, whether the application is in the foreground or in the background ;
  • - you have activated your beacon, whether the application is in the foreground or in the background.

  We do not track the location of your device when you are not using IphiGéNie. When IphiGéNie is activated and in the foreground, you can stop locating your device with a simple tap of a button on the interface.

  Content you can store and share

  With IphiGéNie you have the possibility to create track recordings, to create markers that you can associate with photos. These objects are saved locally, and if you have enabled the cloud, can be synced to your "Google Drive". These data are not saved in our servers..

  You can share by exporting your data by choosing a sharing application among those installed on your device. The recipients of your data must be entered for each export, they are not stored in the IphiGéNie application.

  Information stored on the IphiGéNie server

  IphigéNie does not use a nominative account and does not collect information relating to your identity and your profile. In order to memorize your license purchases, IphiGénie creates and uses an IUID.

  1- IUID

  To identify the devices, IphiGéNie creates a unique digital identifier the first time the application is used : the IUID (Item Unique IDentifier). This IUID is registered locally and transmitted to the Iphigenie license server. In return, the device receives a license to use the cards offered by the application. Some cards require the purchase of additional licenses. When a user purchases a license, this license is stored securely locally, transmitted securely and stored on our "license server". Thanks to the IUID we are able to restore all the purchases of our users.

  2- Purchasing information

  When you make a payment with IphiGéNie, it is made and fully controlled by a "PlayStore" agent who will use your Google account. Thus the payment information provided, such as your payment card or other payment details, are only recorded at Google-Playstore and this information is never communicated to the IphiGéNie application.

  Once the payment process is complete, IphiGénie receives proof of purchase which is saved locally and in our license server, associated with the IUID of your device. It is thanks to this information that we are able to restore your purchases in the event of loss or reset of your device.

  3- Beacon

  The functionality in question makes it possible to transform your smartphone into a "beacon" which automatically transmits your position to an IphiGéNie server at a defined and constant period of 5 minutes. To activate your "beacon" you must :

  • create and save a beacon identifier in the settings of IphiGéNie, note that this identifier must be unique, it is associated with your device ; if you have several devices you will have to choose several beacon identifier, 1 per device.
  • create and save a password in the settings of IphiGéNie
  • activate your beacon by a tap on the button reserved for this use.

  From this moment your beacon is active and if you have a network connection, your position will be sent regularly to the IphiGéNie server.

  So that other users than you can consult the information relating to your beacon on the IphiGéNie server, you will have to communicate to them the beacon identifier and the associated password.

  You can change the tag identifier and associated password at any time. You can delete the beacon tracking information saved on the Iphigenie server at any time.

  To communicate with you

  As we do not have an account or email address at our disposal, we communicate with you mainly through the "iphigenia info" page accessible directly from your smartphone.

  We respond quickly to all messages, whether they are posted on the forum, the faq or sent to our support mailbox .

  security

  The datas are hosted on a server whose level of security is linked to the sensitivity of the datas. Some people may have access to it, in part or in full, as part of their normal mission : administrators, technical support. All exchanges use the HTTPS protocol, so no information circulates in the clear.

  Acceptance

  By using our mobile application or our desktop application, you agree to all the provisions of this privacy policy.

  En tout cas, j'ai l'impression que cela a été fait en catimini, ce qui n'est pas très RGPD...
  A-t-on vraiment besoin de tout ça ? En tant qu'utilisateur final, pas du tout !

  Tout d'abord merci pour ce retour.

  Il est vrai que nous avons mis en place un certain nombre d'outils statistique et d'analyse pour nous permettre de mieux comprendre comment nos utilisateurs dans un but unique d’amélioration de l'application.
  - Amplitude (statistique)
  - Facebook Analytics (statistique)
  - Facebook Login (c'est pour clier l'aplication a notre compte Meta pro)
  - Facebook Share (statistique)
  - Google CrashLytics (Analyse et debug)
  - Google Firebase Analytics (statistique et debug)

  Les données issue des ces outils sont bien destinées a un usage interne et aucune commercialisation des données utilisateurs n'est envisagée ce jour.

  Concernant les la politique de confidentialité nous n'avons pas retirer la page de l'ancien site c'est une erreur de notre part.
